Leanne Walker

Head of Research

Leanne joined RAPIvD in 2021 and quickly demonstrated her capabilities as a talented scientist, as well as a skilled project and people manager.

She graduated with a Masters in Chemical Research (Biological Chemistry) and a BSc in Chemistry from Leicester University. She came to RAPIvD after a contract working for Unilever ice cream research team as Pilot Plant Technologist.

Leanne manages RAPIvD's research projects and resources. She is a key member of the company's management team and plays a vital role in communicating project progress to staff and customers.

Outside of work, Leanne is a fan of Formula 1 motor racing, loves a holiday and is rarely seen without a mug of tea or glass of something stronger.
