Chloë Armitage

After graduating with a first-class degree in Biological Science from Oxford Brookes University, Chloë joined RAPIvD as a Lab Technician. It became apparent very quickly that she was a capable Research Scientist and it didn't take her long to warrant promotion to a Level 2 Research Scientist.

 

Chloë now manages the lab work for complex assay development projects and tackles them with a healthy blend of initiative, curiosity and professionalism. She is thorough, knowledgeable, well organised and adept at interpreting and articulating test results.

 

Outside of work, you’re likely to find Chloë running or horse riding. You might also find her on the water, sailing her Laser Radial. In 2025, she was awarded the Lady Mariner of the Year for her performances at Bedford’s Priory Sailing Club.
