Callum Byrne-Stott

Callum first joined RAPIvD on a temporary contract while studying for his BSc in Biomedical Science at Keele University. He returned after graduating, initially on a short-term contract and joined on a full-time basis in 2025.

 

He has a healthy curiosity and a thirst for understanding the science that underpins lateral flow development. His analytical nature helps him to find the marginal gains in assay performance that meet and exceed customer requirements.

 

Callum is into video games and is one of the world’s 2 million+ Warhammer hobbyists, spending many painstaking hours painting his miniatures and sending them into tabletop war games. He retains an unnatural amount of science trivia and obscure animal facts and – by the sounds of it – has a similar capacity for details from history.
